Rewind

A campaign film for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, introducing its Take It Down initiative.

The idea

The film runs moments in reverse to deliver a message about moving forward: help is available, and an image shared online does not have to define someone’s future.

Campaign & coverage

Helping young people take back control.

Announced in February 2023, the campaign supported the launch of Take It Down. VCCP’s PSA was created to reach young people on the platforms they use. NCMEC launch announcement ↗

The free service helps limit the spread of intimate images taken before someone turned 18. Participating platforms use a digital fingerprint to identify matching content, while the original image stays on the person’s device. About Take It Down ↗
